Diane Bachman, CMHC is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in individual therapy and marriage counseling. She maintains a private practice, Crossroads Counseling, PLLC in Centerville, Utah.
Diane has advanced training in a type of psychodynamic psychotherapy called Object Relations Therapy. This way of working focuses on the importance of healthy relationships in overall wellbeing. Unwanted symptoms such as anxiety and depression are seen as the result of underlying conflicts and anxieties. In psychotherapy, these underlying issues can be uncovered and transformed so that symptoms can reduced or eliminated. Recent studies have shown that the benefits of this type of therapy include continuous mental health improvement even after therapy is terminated.
Diane has always been interested in understanding what needs to happen for optimal human development and growth. She offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each client based on their needs and desires. With compassion and practical feedback she enjoys helping others get unstuck and move toward their goals with imagination, courage, and integrity.
